Ok, so a little dramatic I know, but we're just about as excited to start our new business as Jangles the Moon Monkey is at the intergalactic banana festival. We've been planning and working on this for about eight months and are really pleased to introduce our shiny new site and our brand new blog!
Here we're going to keep you up to date on all the great stuff we are doing for our clients, as well as exploring some of the latest innovations in all things web. Hopefully we can keep you informed and maybe give you a chuckle now and then, but before we get into all that we'd like to explain a little why we're boldly filing fictitious name statements to go where no web design & development company has gone before.
Now, we've been working in this business since people were still using frames and table elements (for the layman just think early myspace), and we've seen a lot. I can't say we've seen it all, because the web pretty much borders on infinity. There's a lot of things you can't un-see out there *shudder*, but what really started this was the sheer insanity we have witnessed in other companies and other developers. We've seen clients come to us with mangled wordpress websites, that were only held together with JavaScript hacks (for the layman think scotch tape and peanut butter). We've had people come to us who paid ten times what they should have for incomplete and broken projects and we've seen companies that neglect & abuse their clientele. In a world full of the callous and the incompetent we wanted to create something better.
We are the real deal. We are skilled designers, developers and content creators and there is no reason the public should not have direct access to our talents. It meant taking on a lot more work for ourselves to launch our own company, and we've put in a lot of unpaid time developing it, but we feel like it's worth it to able to brew a pot of coffee we bought with our own petty cash. I gotta be honest, we're a little silly now and then, but we take our work and our clients' goals seriously. It just helps to deal with the stress of multi-dimensional travel to crack a few jokes.
In closing, we just want to say that we care a lot about our clients. We need them, and not just to keep the lights on. We may have the jet packs and rocket boosters, but our clients understand their business better than we do and we work closely with them to communicate the message they want to deliver. We are looking forward to all the freedom and challenges that being our own business will present us. Keep your eyes open for what's to come and expect awesomeness.
